Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. The ability to handle heavy lifting as needed. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving. *This is job starts early morning, from 4am.*
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations.
- Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery notes and invoices.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Navigate efficiently using maps or GPS systems to optimise delivery routes.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver or in commercial driving is preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is advantageous but not essential.
- A good understanding of road safety regulations and best practices for delivery driving.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
