Warehouse Operative (Picking & Packing) – Temp to Perm
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join a well-established industrial business in Hoddesdon. This role offers a great opportunity to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period.
Pay Rate: £12.98 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
- Picking and packing orders accurately within a warehouse environment
- Handling and moving hard metals and heavy materials
- Preparing goods for dispatch
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Operating a counterbalance forklift (approximately 50% of the role)
- Maintaining a clean and organised workspace
Requirements:
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential)
- Previous experience in picking and packing preferred
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling and heavy lifting
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
