We are a family run Architectural Ironmongery looking for a stock room assistant.
Industry related experience would be of great advantage. (Architectural Ironmongery - Locks, door handles & Hinges, Hardware store)
Please be aware that our premises has stairs and there are no lifts.
We will be holding interviews week commencing 25/05/2026.
You should:
- Have stock room or warehouse experience
- Be willing to work as part of a team
- Be helpful and eager to learn
- Be punctual & polite
- Be physically able to lift and carry boxes
The role:
- Receiving deliveries - Goods In
- Picking & packing orders for despatch - Goods Out
- Maintain accurate stock levels
- Stock take and regular stock checks
- Quality control
- Recycling & waste management
- Keep a tidy and organised work space
- Gaining product knowledge as you work
- Answering the stores telephone line
