Major Foods Ltd is a fast-growing business that provides our services to the catering industry. We are looking for positive, proactive, and professional individual to join our team.
We provide Soft drinks, Packaging & Fresh/Frozen products. Due to ongoing growth and demand, we are keen to recruit a warehouse operative to work in our Barking, Essex depot.
Timings are;
Monday 5AM - 1PM
Tuesday 5AM - 1PM
Wednesday 5AM- 1PM
Thursday5AM - 1PM
Friday 5AM - 1PM
Saturday5AM - 1PM
Key Accountabilities
- Picking and packing items for customers to strict delivery deadlines.
- Receiving, booking-in, putting-away and despatching stock.
- Safely operating fork-lift truck as required for warehouse transactions including unloading and loading vehicles.
- Supporting Warehouse Manager and communicate with other departments to ensure issues are resolve promptly.
- Carrying-out stock counts accurately and reconcile discrepancies.
- Carrying-out all other general warehouse and housekeeping duties.
Essential
- Must have experience working in a warehouse environment carrying-out pick/pack, goods-in, dispatch and general warehouse operations.
- Computer literate with experience
- Health and Safety of themselves and colleagues.
- Must show a hands-on approach, able to carry-out manual handling duties
- Good written and verbal communications skills.
- Ability to work and achieve challenging deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- A friendly, positive and hardworking approach to work. Trustworthy and reliable.
- Able to easily commute to the warehouse based in Barking, Essex.

Pay: £30,000.00 per year
