Yard/Warehouse Person
An opportunity has arisen to work from our St Albans Depot, Hertfordshire AL1 1JB, Where we supply and deliver and all forms of Roofing Materials.
You will need to be a good communicator as you will be working closely with a team of experienced operatives and dealing with the Public. You should have a flexible attitude, and ideally some experience in the Building / Roofing Industry. You will need to be aware of health and safety where it will be a key factor within the working day. You will also be loading and unloading delivery vehicles by hand or with a forklift truck, sorting stock and general housekeeping.
Forklift experience would be helpful but not essential.
You will be required to work Monday to Thursday 6:30am – 4:30pm and 6:30am – 4:00pm on Fridays
44.5 hours per week
£29,503.50 pa plus Bonuses

- Experience in materials handling
- Ability to load and unload efficiently
- Capability for heavy lifting tasks

- St Albans AL1 1JB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Roofing/Builders Merchant: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driving Licence (preferred)
- Counterbalance Forklift (required)
