Introduction – Role
This is a role for an enthusiastic, hardworking and efficient warehouse assistant which involves carrying out general daily warehouse activities directed by the warehouse manager to ensure smooth functioning and timely dispatch of customer orders.
Duties/Responsibilities
- labelling products
- Loading and unloading Lorries, vans and other vehicles.
- Operating a forklift
- Receiving, moving, checking and storing deliveries.
- Preparing deliveries
The applicant will need to be/have
Good computer skills with a working knowledge of word and Excel
Good written and spoken English
Be Numerate
- A good team player.
- Physically fit to handle weighty goods
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask
- Hands on approach/Can do attitude
- Proactive
- Willing to work overtime at short notice.
- Have a meticulous and efficient work ethic
- An outgoing, friendly personality
- Eligible to work and live in the UK
