Mixed Freight Services Ltd is currently recruiting various Warehouse Operatives positions to join our team supporting air cargo and air freight operations near London Heathrow Airport.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) regulated logistics company operating within the fast-paced air cargo and aviation logistics sector.
As a Heathrow Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in the handling, cargo screening, and secure movement of freight through our warehouse operation.
The role supports operations across both our Feltham and Ashford depots, with your primary base depending on operational requirements.
Mixed Freight Services Ltd is a Civil Aviation Authority regulated and licensed logistics company. We engage ourselves in the transportation, handling and screening of Import, Export and General Cargo within the United Kingdom. The successful applicant will be working within our 24 hour, 7 day a week operation and will also support our subsidiary Commercial Vehicle Rental company servicing London Heathrow.

Duties
Receiving and checking all cargo shipments arriving at the warehouse
Carrying out cargo screening using X-ray machines and approved aviation security methods
Loading and unloading freight vehicles
Operating a counterbalance forklift
Processing shipments using our warehouse management system
Working closely with drivers and warehouse colleagues to keep cargo moving efficiently
Following aviation security and health & safety procedures
General paperwork duties

Reliable and hardworking individuals

Good communication skills (spoken and written English)
Ability to multitask, solve problems and use initiative
Basic IT skills
Ability to work within a team, learn from peers and share ideas
Strong motivation, organisation and punctuality.
Previous warehouse, air cargo, or air freight experience is beneficial but not essential.
Full training will be provided.
