The job is Monday to Friday/Monday to Saturday alternating weeks.
Hours 0500-1400 plus overtime.
To help and assist our current excellent transport team helping to manage the distribution and loading of chilled and frozen products onto our lorries for forward distribution to all leading high street food chains and wholesale distributors across the country.
This job also involves computer work consisting of invoice reconciliation, invoice building and a general overview of all things concerned with delivery notes and distribution admin.

A Cpc holder and HGV license holder with an interest in Lorrie’s and transport is a big plus point.
Overtime and performance bonuses are applicable to the right applicant.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering a first class service to all of our customers, external and internal;
- Checking and picking of customers orders to ensure that the customer receives the correct product;
- Assisting with the management of the computerised stock control system;
- Assisting with stock rotation;
- Monitoring stock levels and expired stock;
- Receiving and booking in deliveries;
- Ensuring the general tidiness of the unit;
- Assisting with stock takes;
- Undertaking any other duties which may be requested by the Line Manager, for which training and/or an explanation has been provided and understood.

Highly Desirable:
- Experience gained within a Distribution/Wholesale department or similar;
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
