Kitchen & Warehouse Porter
Location: Battersea, London
Reports To: Head Chef / Warehouse & Logistics Manager
Hours: Full Time (including some evenings and weekends as required)
Role Purpose
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and organised Kitchen & Warehouse Porter to join our busy catering and events team in Battersea.
This varied role supports both our production kitchen and warehouse operations and is essential to the smooth running of our day-to-day catering activities and event deliveries. The successful candidate will help maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation and internal equipment stock control while providing vital support to our kitchen, logistics and events teams.

Key Responsibilities
Kitchen Support
- Wash and clean all kitchen equipment, utensils, crockery and cookware.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen and production areas.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures.
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation tasks when required.
- Ensure waste is disposed of correctly and recycling procedures are followed.
- Maintain cleanliness within office areas.
- Clean and maintain staff and guest toilet facilities to a high standard.
Warehouse Support
- Assist with unloading company vehicles following events.
- Organise, clean and maintain warehouse storage areas.
- Ensure equipment is cleaned, checked and returned to the correct location after events.
- Report any damaged or missing items to the Warehouse & Logistics Manager.
- Ensure all equipment and stock are stored safely and correctly.
Desirable
- Previous experience in a kitchen porter, warehouse operative and catering.
- Food Hygiene Certificate, although not essential.
- Full UK Driving Licence, although not essential
