School Minibus Driver Required
Start date: 1st September 2026
Salary: £4,475 per annum for mornings only (1.75 hours daily) or £8,951 per annum for mornings and afternoons (3.5 hours daily), plus pension, paid overtime and wellbeing benefits.
We are seeking a safety-conscious, calm and reliable Minibus Driver to safely transport pupils between designated pick-up points and the school. Authorised overtime may be available for school trips and events. Applicants must have at least two years’ driving experience, a full clean UK driving licence (D1 entitlement desirable), and be aged 25+ for insurance purposes.
Key Duties:
- Conduct daily and weekly vehicle safety inspections and maintain records
- Monitor cleanliness and arrange regular internal and external cleaning
- Check fuel and fluid levels and report maintenance concerns
- Drive safely, adhering to road regulations and speed limits
- Supervise pupils, ensuring seatbelts are worn and safety procedures followed
- Enforce the school minibus policy and report incidents or behaviour concerns
- Communicate professionally with parents using agreed school procedures
- Collect and drop off pupils at designated locations and times
- Manage and report accidents or incidents appropriately
- Ensure personal data is protected
