Want to get into sales but can't get a break because you haven't done it before? This could be that break.
This is a hands-on branch role. You will start with what you know, warehouse, stock, deliveries, and we will train you on the rest: taking customer orders, getting quotes, sourcing products, and building relationships with trade customers.
No two days are the same and as you learn more, the sales side of the job grows.
What the role involves
You will take customer orders, answer enquiries, get quotes from suppliers, and make sure customers get what they need. When stock needs picking or putting away, you help in the warehouse. Around four weeks a year you will cover van deliveries.
We sell electrical products to the trade. If a customer needs something we do not have in stock, we go and find it. We call suppliers, get prices, place the order, and make sure it gets delivered. You will be trained on all of it.

Who you are
You have worked in a trade, wholesale, or technical environment and you have picked up a decent product knowledge along the way. That might be electrical, plumbing, building materials, motor factors, industrial supplies, or somewhere similar. We do not mind where you learned it as long as you can learn more.
You are practical, reliable, and the sort of person who gets on with it. You want more than just shifting stock but nobody has given you the chance yet.
A full driving licence is needed for the van delivery cover.
