Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for appraising and transporting vehicles efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries and professional service. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing excellent customer service while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles, in accordance with road safety regulations.
- Be able to accurately appraise and road test a vehicle.
- Be confident and sociable to effectively communicate with customers.
- Deliver vehicles to customers promptly and accurately, ensuring all items are delivered in a timely and professional manner.
- Communicate effectively customers regarding delivery schedules and any unforeseen delays.
- Maintain the cleanliness and routine maintenance of the delivery vehicle.
- Complete all necessary documentation accurately, including delivery logs and receipts.
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times during operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar commercial driving role.
- Valid UK driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
- Previous vehicle appraisal experience from Webuyanycar/BCA/Auction houses prefereable.
- mechanical knowledge and experience.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and customers.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan routes efficiently.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently under minimal supervision.
