Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated order fulfilment assistant to join our fast-paced small dental business. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse activities, including materials handling, stock management, and shipping and receiving processes. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a fast-paced environment, contributing to the efficient movement of dental equipment & materials and maintaining high standards of quality control. Prior warehouse experience is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Duties
- Handling materials safely and efficiently.
- Managing stock levels to ensure accurate inventory records
- Picking and packing orders accurately for dispatch, ensuring all items meet quality standards
- Prepare parcels and shipping labels for dispatch
- Stocking shelves and organising storage areas to optimise space utilisation
- Assisting with shipping and receiving activities, including documentation and labelling
- Conducting quality control checks on incoming and outgoing products
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times
- Answer incoming phone calls professionally
- Respond to customer enquiries regarding orders, delivery status, and products
- Escalate complex issues when required
- Assist with basic administrative and data entry tasks
- Communicate with couriers and suppliers when needed
Previous experience in a warehouse environment is advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided. Experience in shipping & receiving operations, picking & packing, stocking, or quality control will be considered an asset
Skills & Experience
- Previous warehouse, fulfilment, retail, or customer service experience preferred
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Friendly and professional phone manner
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Physically capable of lifting and moving stock when required

What We Offer
- Part-time hours: Monday to Wednesday (with potential to grow to full-time)
