Job Summary
BCA Logistics is seeking a reliable and professional Trade Plate Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting vehicles efficiently and safely across various locations. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and excellent communication skills to coordinate deliveries effectively. The ideal applicant will have previous delivery driver experience, a valid driver’s licence. This position offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic logistics environment, supporting the seamless movement of vehicles for our clients.

Responsibilities

Safely operate trade plate vehicles to transport cars between depots, clients, and other designated locations
Ensure all deliveries are completed within specified timeframes while adhering to road safety regulations
Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after each journey to identify any issues or maintenance needs
Assist with loading and unloading vehicles, including heavy lifting when necessary
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle condition
Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and clients regarding delivery schedules and any delays or issues encountered
Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment at all times

Qualifications

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar logistics role
Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record
Experience with driving commercial vehicle
Strong communication skills to liaise with team members and clients professionally
Organised, punctual, and capable of managing multiple deliveries in a busy schedule
Knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws within the UK
