We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Taxi Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. Duties
- Safely operate a taxi vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations at all times
- Pick up and drop off passengers at designated locations promptly and courteously
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle to ensure passenger comfort and safety
- Communicate effectively with passengers to understand their destinations and provide assistance if needed
- Manage fare collection accurately using cashless or traditional payment methods
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, lights, and brakes, to ensure optimal performance
- Assist with heavy lifting when loading or unloading luggage or packages for passengers
- Keep detailed records of trips, routes taken, and fare transactions for reporting purposes
Experience
- Proven experience as a driver, preferably with delivery or commercial driving background
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; driver certification is a plus
- Experience in customer service or roles requiring strong communication skills
- Familiarity with city streets, navigation tools, and traffic patterns
- Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks and identify mechanical issues
- Previous heavy lifting experience is advantageous for handling luggage or cargo
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and professionalism in previous roles
