We are looking for an experienced and reliable HGV Recovery Driver (Class 1 or Class 2) to join our busy roadside recovery operation.
You will be operating 7.5t–12t recovery vehicles, attending roadside breakdowns and accident recoveries while providing a professional service to customers.
This role suits someone confident working independently, experienced with recovery work, and comfortable dealing with the public.
Role responsibilities
- Attending roadside breakdowns and accident recoveries
- Safely loading and transporting vehicles using recovery equipment
- Using the Apex recovery system to receive and manage jobs
- Communicating with customers in a professional and helpful manner
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and keeping equipment in good condition
- Working efficiently in a fast-paced recovery environment
Requirements
- Class 1 or Class 2 licence
- Previous vehicle recovery experience essential
- Experience using the Apex system preferred
- Valid CPC and digital tachograph card
- Good understanding of safe loading and recovery procedures
- Professional attitude with good customer service skills
