The Supply Chain function at Aston Martin is responsible for managing the end-to-end flow of materials, information, and finished vehicles across a complex automotive value chain.
This includes planning, supplier management, material control, logistics (inbound and outbound), BOM governance, and program delivery, ensuring alignment between engineering, manufacturing, and customer requirements
Job purpose
To operate as a flexible Supply Chain resource, supporting core activities across production planning, material planning & logistics (MPL), BOM management, outbound logistics, and program launch.
The role provides broad exposure across supply chain disciplines, ensuring operational continuity, supporting delivery targets, and enabling successful program execution.
Key duties and responsibilities
- Support production and supply planning processes, ensuring alignment between demand, supply, and manufacturing constraints
- Manage material flow from suppliers into production, ensuring continuity of supply
- Identify and resolve supply chain risks, including shortages, delays, and capacity constraints
- Maintain and validate key supply chain data, including BOM and planning parameters
- Support engineering change implementation, ensuring accurate and timely execution across the supply chain
- Coordinate with logistics providers to manage inbound and outbound material and vehicle flows
- Support vehicle distribution to global markets, ensuring customer delivery requirements are met
- Contribute to program and launch activities, ensuring supply chain readiness and stability
- Monitor performance metrics (delivery, inventory, shortages, cost) and support improvement actions
- Work cross-functionally to resolve operational issues and drive performance improvements
Experience and qualifications
Essential experience
- 2 years’ experience within supply chain, logistics, planning, or manufacturing environment
- Experience working with ERP/MRP systems (e.g. SAP or equivalent)
- Strong analytical capability with proficiency in Excel
- Exposure to operational problem-solving and cross-functional working
Preferred experience
- Automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplier experience
- Exposure across multiple supply chain disciplines (planning, logistics, materials, or BOM)
- Understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes
- Awareness of S&OP / IBP processes
Essential education/ qualifications
Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related discipline
Preferred education/ qualifications
Lean / Continuous Improvement knowledge
