Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and reliable Executive Driver to provide safe and efficient transportation services for our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to manage various logistical tasks. This role involves delivering goods, transporting executives, and ensuring all vehicles are maintained to the highest standards. The Executive Driver will play a vital role in supporting our operational needs through punctuality, professionalism, and exceptional communication skills.
Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles, including executive cars and delivery vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Transport executives, clients, or goods to designated locations in a timely manner
- Assist with loading and unloading heavy items or luggage as required
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on vehicles and report any issues promptly
- Plan efficient routes to optimise delivery times and minimise fuel consumption
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the vehicle at all times
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding schedules or delays
- Keep accurate records of trips, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance logs
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a driver, preferably with delivery driver experience or commercial driving background
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record; relevant certifications for commercial driving are desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when required for loading or unloading cargo
- Excellent communication skills to liaise professionally with clients and team members
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and basic troubleshooting skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan routes efficiently
- Responsible, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
