Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Driver with a long wheel based van to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic regulations. This role requires communication skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting as needed. Experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver is highly desirable.
Duties
- Safely operate a van to deliver goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling of products during transport.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including times, locations, and any discrepancies.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
- Assist in the warehouse when not on deliveries, including inventory management and organisation of stock.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver is preferred.
- Previous experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work varied hours as needed for delivery schedules.

Pay: £12.71-£16.00 per hour
