Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including materials handling, stock management, and shipping and receiving activities. Prior warehouse experience is preferred, along with a proactive attitude and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport goods.
- Manage stock levels using Warehouse Management System (WMS) software, ensuring accurate inventory records.
- Handle materials with care, including picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment or storage.
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation.
- Load and unload lorries or containers, ensuring items are secured properly during transit.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency.
- Support stock replenishment activities such as stocking shelves and organising storage areas.
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues when necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets while adhering to health and safety regulations.

Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or logistics environments.
- Proficiency in operating forklift trucks; certification is advantageous.
- Strong materials handling skills with an understanding of stock organisation principles.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic troubleshooting on equipment.
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, including load & unload processes.
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and extended periods of standing or moving around the warehouse.
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail for inventory accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
